I am one of those people that enjoys binge-watching my television. There's a lot of us out there. A good friend of mine spent Sunday binge-watching all of The OA. I can easily go through a 10-episode season in a weekend if not a day. When it comes to my television shows that I can watch weekly on TV, sometimes I'll wait a few weeks so that I can watch four or five episodes in a row. There are so many television shows out there right now on so many different networks. Here are 5 that I think are totally 100% binge-worthy.
Based on the Danish TV series, The Killing, is detective story that follows a murder mystery through a full season and more. The stories unfold through Seattle police detectives Sarah Linen (Mireille Enos) and Stephen Holder (Joel Kinneman). At first they but heads as Linden is by-the-book and Holder is more 'fly-by-the-seat-of-his-pants.' As they work together to solve the murder of Rosie Larson (takes 2 season...but hang in there...it's worth it) they form a bond that gets them through the toughest of places.
If you aren't familiar with GOT, then you're living under a rock. Based on George R.R. Martin's best selling book series "A Song of Ice and Fire," HBO has brought the many land and many characters in this medieval fantasy world to life. The series is approaching its seventh and final season, as the powerful men and women fight for the Iron Throne. There is no better time to binge-watch!
This is one of my all time favorite television shows! Tatiana Maslany plays Sarah, Cosima, Alison, Rachel, Helena, Crystal, Tony, The Russian...and a few more! She won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series and it was well deserved! OB is a sci-fi crime drama about clones and the goverment. It's addictive and absolutely fantastic! The fifth and final season starts in April. The best time to get on the band wagon is now!
A spin off from the original Full House, this is a fun family show that Netflix picked up and produced. DJ Fuller is a single mom (husband passed away) raising three sons. Her sister Stephanie and best friend Kimmie Gibbler have moved in to help her out. Seasons one and two are currently available on Netflix and they just got picked up for a third season!
This is a television show I haven't seen. It just won the Golden Globe for Best Television Series - Drama and Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series - Drama. It chronicles the life of Queen Elizabeth II from the 1940s to modern times. I've heard it's amazing and I can't wait to watch it with a cup (or pot) of tea!
