Top 10 Trilogies to Watch

Over the weekend I indulged in the Scream Trilogy. I love those movies. When they first came out in theaters they scared the crap out of me. Now I watch them on Netflix every once in a while. It got me thinking about other trilogies that I really enjoy. I thought I would share my ten favorite trilogies. If you haven't seen some of these, then there might be some spoilers.

Indiana Jones
Another classic! The fourth one was awful! There's rumor about Chris Pratt revamping the role of Indy. After seeing the new Jurassic Park movie I think he would do well in the role. I just hope the script is better than the Crystal Skull movie.

Jurassic Park
Another group of movies that I LOVE! The JP movies are sooo much fun and action packed. The idea of dinosaurs coming back is so cool, yet also terrifying! I would probably get eaten by a velociraptor! Thank you to Steven Spielberg for continuing the movies and to Chris Pratt for being awesome in it!

The Godfather
Classic! If you haven't seen these movies, then you absolutely should. When I lived in Los Angeles I was getting a lot of flack for not having seen these movies. People couldn't believe that I was an actress and had never seen The Godfather movies. I finally saw them (part 1 and 2) and am so glad that I did. I was advised not to watch part 3. People said it wasn't as good and somewhat pointless, so I haven't seen it. You should definitely see the first two movies!

Star Wars
The original three, so IV, V, VI. These are the classic three. When they made  I, II, III it was cool, because I was able to experience them for my generation. They weren't the original. I am excited about episode VII in December.

Lord of the Rings
Amazing! I tried reading these books, but JRR Tolkien is such a detailed writer, that I was falling asleep. The movies are visually beautifully in every possible way!

The Hunger Games
If you've read the books, then you know what I'm talking about. If you haven't, then get on it!

Another book series that went to film and did really well. They aren't as good as The Hunger Games, but the films are still really well done.

The Dark Knight
Batman is definitely my superhero of choice, I have seen all of them (not the cartoons) dating all the way back to Michael Keaton. I think Christian Bale was a fantastic Batman.

I love scary movies! Luckily I've seen these three enough that I can sleep after watching them. I think the reason I love the Scream movies as much as I do, is that I really love Sydney's character. In the third movie they pull in a Hollywood background story and I love it!

Toy Story
How can you not love Toy Story!!! The first one, of course, is totally classic. The second was good and the third was fantastic! Such great movies for the whole family!
