High Five For Friday...phew!

The reason I say phew in the post title is because I am sooooooo tired! As I right this (Thursday night) my feet are so sore from being on the trade show floor today. More of that in a minute :)  How was your week? Did you get some Christmas shopping done? Mine is all done, yay!!!!

Before I forget, today is the very last day to enter the giveaway I'm hosting over at September Farm to win a $50 Target Gift Card. You know you want it, so follow me on over and click HERE to enter! Good luck!

Now, on with the week!

{one} On Friday last week my new boss took everyone in the office out to lunch for the Holiday. We all received a beautiful Roanoke Star Christmas ornament and had a delicious lunch at Carlos Brazilian restaurant. Look at my scrumptious dessert! After lunch boss man gave us all the rest of the day off! Gotta love my new job!

{two} The office Secret Santa is at it again! This time with an adorable cookie jar filled with candy. This little guy is so cute. We all got to work on Tuesday with these sitting on our desk. On Thursday we received little Bath & Body Works holiday hand sanitizers in our mail boxes. So cute!

{three} This week I headed to Raleigh, NC for my first trade show. On the way there we saw a sign for Blue Ridge Rd. I absolutely had to take a picture! Being from and living in the Blue Ridge itself, it was pretty cool to see this sign.

{four} The Trade Show!!!! It was the AENC (Association Executives of North Carolina) Trade Show. We arrived on Wednesday, late afternoon, and set up the majority of our booth. On Thursday we had a great seminar, lunch and the trade show itself for a few hours in the afternoon. It wasn't as busy as I thought it might be, but it was a great learning experience. I met a lot of new people from different hotels and companies all over (not just from North Carolina). I'm excited to attend more trade shows in the future! In May I'm going to Las Vegas baby!

{five} At the trade show we attended a seminar with a special speaker, John Spence. His talk was really really good! He talked about how to be a good leader, the kind of work culture that creates good leaders and good teams, and so much more! His book was for sale and he was doing a signing as well. I got to talk to him for a couple minutes. He's a super nice guy and full of tons of information. I'm really looking forward to reading his book as well as a few others that he recommended!

I'm linking up with Lauren Elizabeth (High Five For Friday) and September Farm (Oh Hey, Friday) today. Go check them out and meet new bloggers. Don't forget to have a Fabulous Weekend! Only 13 days until Christmas!!!!!
