High Lights from the Golden Globes

Happy Monday! Did everyone watch the Golden Globes last night? I did and I loved almost all if it!  Here are some recaps of my favorite categories...all movies!

Jennifer Lawrence took home the award for Best Supporting Actress in a Motion Picture for American Hustle.

Jared Leto won Best Supporting Actor in a Motion Picture for Dallas Buyers Club. He was simply amazing in this film!

Amy Adams won for Best Actress in a Motion Picture Musical or Comedy for American Hustle.

Cate Blanchet won Best Actress in a Drama for Blue Jasmine.  I haven't seen it yet, but it's pretty star packed.

*****LEO WON*****
Best Actor in a Musical/Comedy
I haven't seen The Wolf of Wall Street, so now I'm going to HAVE TO! I'm so excited, because he really is a fantastic actor!

I am so glad that he won Best Actor in a Drama for Dallas Buyers Club, because this movie was AMAZING!

American Hustle won Best Picture for Comedy/Musical.
It was okay, but out of the other nominees this was the only one I had seen.

12 Years a Slave won for Best Drama.  I haven't seen this one yet either, so that's 3 movies I need to see before the Oscars.

Frozen took home the award for Best Animated Film.
Olaf (the snowman for those of you who haven't seen it) must be so happy :-)

~ Here are some other categories of the winners that I loved ~

House of Cards only took home 1 award - Best Actress in a TV Drama for Robin Wright.  Who, in case you didn't know, is engaged to Ben Foster...what!?!?!?!?

I wanted Kevin Spacey to win Best Actor, but that guy from Breaking Bad won.  Grrr!
Breaking Bad also took home Best TV Drama
Amy Poehler won for Best TV Actress in a Comedy and made out with Bono!
Gravity director Alfonso Cuaron won for Best Director
The winner for Best TV Comedy was Brooklyn Nine-Nine.  I haven't seen this show, so I'm not sure about it's win.  I'll watch an episode on Hulu and see how I feel.
Michael Douglas won Best Actor in a TV Movie for Behind the Candelabra.
Best Screenplay went to Her

The Academy Award Nominations (aka...The Oscar Nominations) are announced this Thursday.  It's going to be a tough year, because how can I possibly choose between Leo and Matt?  I'll have to go see 3 hours of the F word to find out! Yes, the use the F word in The Wolf of Wall Street 506 times.  I'll bring my earmuffs!

Oh, and the Oscars air on March 2nd with Ellen Degeneres hosting!

Linking up with Lip Gloss & Crayons and Still Being Molly for Funday Monday
