Hip Hip Hooray...it's Friday!

What a week it has been.  It's always hard to go back to work after having a full week off.  Only 19 days until Christmas.  Are you ready?  Well, I'm ready for Friday, that's for sure!  Here are some highlights from my week ~

1. On Sunday I met and old friend from Los Angeles for breakfast in D.C.  We worked together on a show called Sons of Tuscon.  We were stand-ins together on the show's pilot and another one or two episodes after that.  Andrew recently moved to NYC and was in the city for the weekend to work with the Global Fund Campaign.  It was great catching up.  We met at Luna Grill in Dupont Circle and then walked down to Starbucks.  Sunday was World Aids Day and ten cents of every holiday drink went to the Global Fund.  Great cause!

2.  Tuesday I was invited by Bestie to the opening night of A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum at Shakespeare Theatre.  My first summer after graduating from college I interned at the local theater in Roanoke, VA.  This was the first show I worked on and I did the spot light!  I have a special place in my heart for that cast, so it was of course difficult for STC's production to live up to it.  It was, however, incredibly funny!  Of course, getting to spend time with Bestie was the best part about it!.

3.  I got my first Christmas card in the mail yesterday.  Thanks Jacq!

4.  If you weren't aware already, I'm a HUGE fan of the television show Mad Men.  On Black Friday I picked up Season 5 and 6 at Target for super cheap.  I now own every season (brother is borrowing season 2; hence the blank pages).  Last night I finished season 6.  If you're a fan and haven't seen it yet, then I won't ruin it for you.  All I'm going to say is....KARMA'S A B***H DON DRAPER!

5.  Today is St. Nicholas Day!  Did you put your shoes out?  Well, I sure did :)  This year I got three awesome presents from Pixie and Trixie.
A Bacon Grill - I've been wanting one of these for soooo long!
A Camel Back water bottle.  The water bottle that I use for the gym doesn't hold much water and it leaks.  This is going to be great!
Last, but not least, a "ladybug" nail polish bottle holder.  It keeps your nail polish bottle from tipping over when you're doing your nails.  The best part is that it's red with black dots...aka...a ladybug!  Love it!

I hope you all had a fabulous week.  I want to hear all about it!  Leave a comment below or tweet me :)
