A November 5 for 5

I'm re-joining 5 for 5 - the goal oriented link up with Jen at Party of One.  I haven't done a 5 for 5 post in a long time (March 25th to be exact...yes I looked it up!), but I really want to get some things accomplished, so what better way!  Since it's the first Monday of November we are setting monthly goals.

Party of One

~  Here are my November Goals ~ 

1. Be FRUGAL $$$
I really mean it.  As much as I love Black Friday after Thanksgiving, this year I won't be spending like crazy.  If I watch my money the right way, then I can be 100% debt free by the end of 2014.  I've been trying to get out of debt for a long time and this time I'm going to do it!  I guess that's a New Year's Resolution too.

2. Make Exercise a Regular Thing
This means 5 days a week. I'm already off to a good start, since I got up early (4:40am) and went to the gym this morning.  Man, it was cold!

3. Early to Bed...Early to Rise
I'm hoping to start a habit of "early to bed, early to rise" during the week-day-nights.  Get the TV/Computer turned off by 8pm, read for about an hour, then lights off at 9pm.  I know, this makes me sound old.  This is only Sunday night thru Thursday night.  This will also aid in getting up early for the gym before work.  

4. Less TV...More Reading
I had a goal to read 40 books in 2013.  I've read 14.  I shortened my goal to 25, but I still don't think I'm going to get to that.  10 books in 2 months...we'll see!  Hopefully my Goal #3 will help with this!

5. What I'm Thankful For
In November lots of people post on Facebook what they're Thankful for.  I've never participated before, but this year I have started.  So far so good.  I've posted November 1-3.  It's a good way of making you realize what you have in your life that you probably didn't even realize.
